Daily Bread Food Bank is preparing to host a Toronto mayoral debate on August 24, 2026, focused on food insecurity, poverty, affordability, and the future of the city.

Daily Bread is reviewing candidate inclusion in the debate using a 5% polling threshold. Liaison Strategies will conduct a candidate-name test to determine which candidates meet that threshold.

Liaison Strategies will contact registered mayoral candidates whose contact information is publicly available through the City of Toronto. However, some registered candidates do not have publicly listed contact information.

If you are a registered Toronto mayoral candidate and would like your name included in the testing, please contact Liaison Strategies no later than Friday, July 17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.

There is no cost to you or your campaign to be included.

Testing will commence on July 24, 2026.

To be included, candidates should contact:

Daniel Burtnick
Associate, Liaison Strategies
daniel@liaison.ca

This notice is intended to ensure that all registered candidates have a fair opportunity to request inclusion in the testing process.
