Mississauga: Crombie 35%, Tedjo 31%, Parrish 28%
October 22, 2026 (Toronto, ON) - A new Liaison Strategies Mississauga Tracker survey finds Bonnie Crombie leading with 35% among decided and leaning voters, followed by Alvin Tedjo at 31% and Mayor Carolyn Parrish at 28%. Dipika Damerla receives 4%, while 2% choose someone else.
Liaison surveyed a random sample of 1,000 Mississauga residents from October 19 to October 20, 2026, using Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) technology. Participants were reached through random digit dialling across landline and cellular networks. Results were weighted by age, gender and ethnicity to match 2021 Census targets. The margin of error for the total sample is +/- 3.1 percentage points, 19 times out of 20, and is higher for subsamples, including decided and leaning voters. Results may not add to 100% due to rounding.
Liaison Strategies ranked #1 in accuracy in the 2025 Ontario election and #2 nationally in the 2025 federal election. Liaison is a member of the Canadian Research Insights Council.

David Valentin, Principal at Liaison Strategies, said:
"Crombie and Tedjo have each gained five points since our October 5 release. Parrish is down one point, while Damerla has fallen from 11% to 4%. Crombie still leads Tedjo by four points, but Tedjo is now ahead of the incumbent. Both challengers have made gains without either pulling away from the other."

"Tedjo was at 12% in August. He is now at 31%. That is a very different campaign from the one we were looking at two months ago, when Crombie and Parrish were tied at 35%. Crombie has recovered her August share, while Parrish has not."
"The gender results help explain why Crombie has a lead but not much breathing room. Among decided and leaning men, she has 41%, compared with 29% for Tedjo and 26% for Parrish. Among women, the three are much closer: Tedjo has 33%, Crombie 30% and Parrish 29%."
"Age does not produce a simple contest between younger Tedjo voters and older Crombie voters. Crombie leads among those aged 18 to 34, with 37% to Tedjo's 31% and Parrish's 27%. Among those aged 35 to 49, Tedjo and Parrish each have 33%, ahead of Crombie at 29%. These are smaller samples, but they show why none of the leading campaigns should take an age group for granted."
"Parrish's disapproval has fallen from 42% to 37%, but her approval has barely changed, moving from 38% to 37%. The share unsure has risen from 20% to 25%. Fewer residents disapproving is better for her than the alternative, but it has not come with more approval or a higher vote share."

"The city's mood remains difficult for the incumbent. Forty-six per cent say Mississauga is moving in the wrong direction, compared with 30% who say the right direction and 24% who are unsure. That is somewhat better than the 48% wrong direction and 28% right direction in our previous survey, but negative views still outnumber positive ones."
"On the initial ballot question, before leaners are included, Crombie has 27%, Tedjo 24%, Parrish 21%, Damerla 3%, and someone else 1%. Twenty-four per cent are undecided. Crombie has the advantage, Tedjo has continued to build support, and Parrish remains close enough that neither challenger can afford to ignore her."
